St. Mary's Sunday Bulletin

Twenty-second Sunday in Ordinary Time August 29, 2010

Dear Parishioners,
How fast the summer has gone. God bless all the students and teachers and administrators and parents who are all involved in various ways in preparing for the new year. May we all continue to grow in wisdom, age and grace.
Thanks you to all who contributed to the success of our Parish Raffle. This fundraiser is a great help in helping the parish fund our parish subsidy for St. Mary’s School and religious Education programs, liturgy and adult faith formation, and our sacramental preparation programs.
Fr. Vince

The parish fiscal year runs July 1 to June 30. Because of the financial downturn, we budgeted for this past year $20,000 less than the previous year in regular income. Yet we still finished this past year at a negative 6% of projected income. We did not increase the projected regular income for this current year. We are still running behind. To make budget, we need to average $8,846 a week in REGULAR OFFERING. Thank you to those who are giving their fair share. May those who are in a position to do so, increase or begin their weekly offering.
